We are currently seeing the AN1010 error message reported on 2 ports on each of our ISL trunks on one side our fabric. We have been told to change the fill-word from 0 to 3. Why is this applicable to 8gb ISL ports? When we where running 6.4.2a this wasn't an issue. We are running v7.0.0c on DCX backbone switches. Doing this from memory so it could change then I'm back in work.

The FC standard modifies the fill word when working at 8G, so that ports ise ARB instead of IDLE.
Please, find attached, a Brocade doc about Fill word on 8G platforms.
