3200 Silk worm and Profile

I have 2 profile systems I'm trying to hook through a 3200. I can't get them to talk to each other. Grass Valley who makes the Profile tells me I need to have the port type as F-port, but it shows up as a L-port. Does anyone know how to change this or is it read by the fibre card.

Re: 3200 Silk worm and Profile

Try changing the port to a G-port (portcfggport) and run a cfgmgr (that's on a rs6000, dunno what it is on a 'profile' system). The port should see the correct signal coming in and recognise the wwn.
