Re: making active/active for management modules

Hi Harris,

     Firstly this should be posted in the Application Delivery (ADX) forum (Ops, please move this post).

     Ok, as for your question, I do not believe the GTE can do active/active for the management modules - only Active/Standby (a pair of GTE's can be setup in A/A configuration).

     Also the software version you are running are not in sync (this is bad) on the management modules; do the following commands to fix this;

ServerIron#sync-standby boot

ServerIron#sync-standby code

ServerIron#sync-standby running-config

     Last point is the latest version you are running on the active management module is 9.5.02 (very old) - latest for GTE's (and also last ever code is 11.x)

Thanks

Michael.

Re: making active/active for management modules

Hi Harris,

     I read the command from the version 11 code (not sure if they work on 9.5.  I cannot see any release notes for 9.5.x so not sure of the coomands for that version.

Suggets having a  look at the copy command

e.g.

serveriron#copy ?

there maybe something like copy flash pri m1 flas pri m2

Thanks

Michael.
