It appears to me that I need to update my subnet settings from a /24 to a /21. When i attempted this before it killed the WebGUI access and i do not see how to update just the subnet without updating the IP address which will not take as it kills the GUI, which was restored by paying someone some big money, but the guy on call that night forgot to have them change the subnet or have them show him how.
1. If the GUI is disruptred and not accessible any longer, will rebooting the stack bring it back as it may have not been commited?
2. Is there an easier way to update just the subnet setting using the CLI?
(I have inherited this stack from a previous employee and know next to nothing about these switches)

#1, a console connection and remove the old IP/subnet
no ip address x.x.x.x x.x.x.x
ip address x.x.x.x x.x.x.x
Add a new, different IP to the subnet, remove the /24, add the new /21, then remove your temp /21, this will require multiple connects/disconnects
ip address x.x.x.3 x.x.xx
