Trying to list POE status

I want to see which ports are turned on for POE (is a list possible in this aspect?).  I am running a brocade 6430 48p, so I thought all ports were POE or POE+ capable.  I also jumped into port 1/1/3 and tried the inline power approach, but it says this is a non-POE port.  Not really understanding this.  Thanks

Do you have this in a "sh ver"

  HW: Stackable ICX6430-48-HPOE
==========================================================================

UNIT 1: SL 1: ICX6430-48P POE 48-port Management Module

SSH@SwitchName#sh inline power
Power Capacity: Total is 370000 mWatts. Current Free is 321000 mWatts.
Power Allocations: Requests Honored 55 times

Port Admin Oper ---Power(mWatts)--- PD Type PD Class Pri Fault/
State State Consumed Allocated Error
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1/1/1 On Off 0 0 n/a n/a 3 n/a
1/1/2 On Off 0 0 n/a n/a 3 n/a
1/1/3 On Off 0 0 n/a n/a 3 n/a
1/1/4 On Off 0 0 n/a n/a 3 n/a
1/1/5 On Off 0 0 n/a n/a 3 n/a
1/1/6 On Off 0 0 n/a n/a 3 n/a
1/1/7 On On 2800 7000 802.3af Class 1 3 n/a

If the Admin State is "Off" then POE is off for that port

For example:

SSH@SwitchName(config)#int e 1/1/47
SSH@SwitchName(config-if-e1000-1/1/47)#no inline power
...
SSH@SwitchName#sh inline power
...
1/1/46 On Off 0 0 n/a n/a 3 n/a
1/1/47 Off Off 0 0 n/a n/a 3 n/a
1/1/48 On Off 0 0 n/a n/a 3 n/a
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Total 14400 49000

Re: Trying to list POE status

Here is what I am seeing:

  HW: Stackable ICX6430-48

==========================================================================

UNIT 1: SL 1: ICX6430-48 48-port Management Module

Not sure why a POE capable device would not show the POE capability within the version info.  Maybe I am missing a step?

Re: Trying to list POE status

Also, which I run the show inline power command, it doesn't do anything.

my switch#sh inline power

my switch#

Re: Trying to list POE status

There are two versions of the 6430, a 6430-48 and a 6430-48P, it appears you have the non-POE version, the 6430-48

Re: Trying to list POE status

If your switch is indeed a PoE model, then run: show inline power detail

Look for the firmware version:

General PoE Data:
+++++++++++++++++

Firmware
Version
--------
00.0.0

If the version looks like the example above, it's time to RMA the switch with Brocade.

If it looks like this then the switch PoE components are likely fine:

General PoE Data:
+++++++++++++++++

Firmware
Version
--------
02.1.0
