Switch wont join stack

I'm attempting to add a switch to an existing stack. After making sure that the image is the same and issuing the "stack enable" command on the new switch, I run the "stack secure-setup" command on the active switch. The discovery process sees the new switch and asks if the suggested ID is okay but after after saying yes, the new switch is not reboot nor is it added to the stack. Any suggestions?

SSH@VM_VMotion#stack secure-setup

Hi @Siscokidd,

While we still encourage the community to assist with your post, I wanted to let you know that we have started a pilot program with TAC to help with some of the questions being asked and yours has been handed off to our TAC technicians. They will be reaching out to you shortly to gather some more information regarding your ADX so we can get you in touch with the correct group . I encourage you to continue to post in the community and let me know if there is any way I can help. Once your post is resolved, we will make sure to post the resolution back to the community to help other members.

Re: Switch wont join stack

Hello @DennisMSmith

Thank you very much but I found the issue. It turned out one of the stacking cables was bad and therefore a link was essentially missing. As soon as it was replaced the new switch joined the stack.
