Simple issue what's the fix? "re-originating routes"

Normally if I want to advertise a /24 out to a peer via bgp I typically add a static route to loopback.

I just noticed that i cannot do this on a CER! I can add an ip address to an interface within that subnet but that changes the behavior of what i want.

Does anyone know another simple method to reoriginate a /24 Using statics to a loopback dont work. As it wont let you create the route. I could just create a loopback with an ip within that subnet but then that changes the behavior. When packets get to the router they would drop if its within that block.

Any idea's?

I resolved this issue as i found that Brocade does not support pointing routes to Loopback interfaces but they do support pointing them to a null0 interface. Once I used the null0 interface and made sure there was a route back to that destination it worked fine.
