SNNPGET on FastIron Switch!!

Hi All

I would like to collect system utilization through SNMPGEiT. The information that we need is CPU utilization, Memory Utilization and Interface statistcs. However, I am confused with the official document and not sure which OID I should use.

Is it possible to suggest?

Re: SNNPGET on FastIron Switch!!

Hi.

You could use this SNMP OIDs on FastIron:

CPU Util

.1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.2.11.1.1.5.slot#.1.1            1sec interval

.1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.2.11.1.1.5.slot#.1.5            5sec interval

.1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.2.11.1.1.5.slot#.1.60          60 sec interval

.1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.2.11.1.1.5.slot#.1.300        300 sec interval

e.g. for a FastIron SX800/1600 slot#=9

.1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.2.11.1.1.5.9.1.1            1sec interval

.1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.2.11.1.1.5.9.1.5            5sec interval

.1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.2.11.1.1.5.9.1.60          60 sec interval

.1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.2.11.1.1.5.9.1.300        300 sec interval

Memory Util

.1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.2.1.53.0

Interface statistics

Use standard MIB-2 OIDs like Interface IfInOctets or IfOutOctets, ....

Do you use Brocade IronView or BNA?

It is easy with Snmp Monitor.
