Re: Routing Protocol

Hi.

As far as I know: NO

I do not know any Brocade Ip switch/router supporting EIGRP.

EIGRP is Cisco only Routing protocol.

Hope this helps,

Karl

Re: Routing Protocol

Hi.

I have checked the feature table of NetIron MLX latest version 5200:

EIGRP is not listed.

Wiki:

Das Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) ist ein 1992 von Cisco veröffentlichtes proprietäres Routing-Protokoll.

The Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) was released in 1992 by Cisco  as a proprietary routing protocol.

  • Full suite of unicast and multicast IPv4 and IPv6 routing protocols
    • Supported IPv4 protocols include RIP, OSPF, BGP-4, IS-IS, PIM-DM, PIM-SM/SSM, IGMP, BGP-MP for multicast, and MSDP
    • Supported IPv6 protocols include RIPng, OSPFv3, IS-IS for IPv6, BGP-MP for IPv6 (BGP4+), PIM-SSM, and MLD

Re: Routing Protocol

No you cannot.

You need to setup mutual redistribution using a Cisco to do the redistribution of course.

Re: Routing Protocol

Cisco has released the EIGRP to the IETF and will support other vendor integration of the protocol.

Maybe Brocade will introduce it in future releases, who knows..
