Hi,

I have a problem with the FES2402 because he don't want to trust the DSCP or the QoS. We have VoIP telephones Mitel5312 and I can kill the Mitel communication with a simple flood in the port.

we have tried ACL but without result, and this is my running confing:

Thanks a lot for the help..!!

Re: QoS Brocade-Foundry FES2402 (FastIron Edge 2402)

Hi,

Suggest you remove the ACL then apply qos-tos command on the interface you want it on.  This will also enable the default trust of DSCP.

Enabling Advanced ToS-Based QoS

To enable advanced ToS-based QoS on an interface, enter the following command at the configuration level for the interface:

NOTE: Advanced ToS-Based QoS cannot be used on an interface that has ACLs.

BigIron(config-if-1/1)# qos-tos

Syntax: qos-tos

NOTE: You must use this command if you want to configure the trust level or marking.

Re: QoS Brocade-Foundry FES2402 (FastIron Edge 2402)

Thanks, but ours FES2402 doesn't have this command..

FES2402 Switch#conf t

FES2402 Switch(config)#int e 1

FES2402 Switch(config-if-e100-1)#qos-tos

Invalid input -> qos-tos

Type ? for a list

FES2402 Switch(config-if-e100-1)#

Thanks.

Julian
