Power requirements for the FastIron 1600 series switch chassis with installed cards.

Hello,

Could someone help me on figuring out the power requirements (amps and watts) for the FastIron1600 switch chassis. We will be installing 2 of these chassis's in our data center, which will be the core of our network. The following cards will be installed in each switch chassis as well:

          SX-FI42XG (2 per chassis)

          SX-FI2XGMR4-PREM (1 per chassis)

          SX-FI48GPP (3 per chassis)

We will also be installing 4 Brocade FastIron Edge X 448 switches for the access layer. Could someone tell me the amperage for these switches

Thanks!

Re: Power requirements for the FastIron 1600 series switch chassis with installed cards.

Hi TD,

For the FastIron SX

Current at Power Supply Input (Amps) @100 VAC is 1.07 for that config (per unit)

Current at Power Supply Input (Amps) @200 VAC is 0.54 for that config (per unit)

Power at Power Supply Input (Watts)   @100 VAC is 107.1 for that config (per unit)

Power at Power Supply Input (Watts)   @200 VAC is 107.1 for that config (per unit)

For the FESX (Per power supply)

FESX448 and FESX648

AC input voltage: 100vAC @ 6A MAX, 240vAC @ 2.5A MAX, 50-60Hz per auto-sensing, auto-switching power supply

Thanks

Michael.
