POE Problem ICX7250-Overload state

Has anyone encounter POE overload state issue in 7250? we have this 24P switch and their still enough power 

 

Power Capacity: Total is 370000 mWatts. Current Free is 235000 mWatts.

Power Allocations: Requests Honored 22 times

The port are connected to Ruckus AP H510, we only connect 10 AP and some of it can't be turn ON due to POE Overload statement

We tried limiting the power, changing the to class 2 and priority 2, the faul still the same overload state, port is down (port 6 & 8)

 

Is this related to firmware of switch or POE? below is our version

Hello, 

 

This is likely a known issue (Defect 609442) that we fixed in 8030k and deals with how we detect POE devices on the POH (Ports 1-8) ports. Please upgrade to 8030k or later and enable ''inline power interface-mode-2pair-pse' on ports 1-8 (assume they use <30watts). If you have any issues or need assistance, please feel free to open a TAC case.

Hello,

I have already deployed 02 nos ICX 7250 switches under stacking and connected to poe axis camera,before both were working OK but now i am facing problem one switch is working with all cameras ok and second switch having problem means when i connected camera on same port always light would be yellow. I have already check it from running configuration of same switch and all port are inline power.

for you reference i am attaching running confi. please reply urgent.

Hi,

 

Have you tried the camera on the first swith? Have you tried the camera on a different port on switch 2? Turn on LLD to help with POE negitiation.

 

Please provide a few show commands to find out what is going on?

 

show chassis

show inline power

show inline power detail

 

Also, you get download the admin guide for the ICX 7250 for 08030. This has a good POE section that describes the show command output above.
