Multicast not load balancing across LAG

We're running a 2G bundle from an MLX-8 to a Cisco 7600 with multicast video traffic.  One of the links runs much higher (5% vs 85%) util. than the other.  Is there something special we need to configure on the MLX to get the links to load balance the traffic?

Thanks!

Re: Multicast not load balancing across LAG

Hi MikeB,

LAG's only balance when there is multipul flows, if there is only one flow then it will hit the same link only.  How many flows are you testing?

Thanks

Michael.

Re: Multicast not load balancing across LAG

Somewhere close to 200 IP video streams.  They are basically "nailed up" as we have them statically joined on the Cisco side.

Thanks

Re: Multicast not load balancing across LAG

I can't remember which version, but there is a feature that was added to load balance multicast.  Check version 5+
