ICX 6450 48P

I recently purchase ICX6450 48P but I'm not sure if they really sent me the one with POE capability. How do I know if it has POE capability? Please, help. Thanks

Hi Tumen,

You should post question re switches and routers in the "Ethernet switches and routers" forum.

     However to answer you question.

Use the command "show inline power" or try and turn on PoE on a port.

swtich(config-if-e1000-1/1/14)#inline power

command not applicable for non-POE port 1/1/14.

swtich(config-if-e1000-1/1/14)#

Thanks

Michael.

Re: ICX 6450 48P

That was very helpful. Before I was able to run inline power, I needed to send "int e 1/1/24" then inline power turns on and off port 24. I could also see it on the web interface. Thanks Michael.
