Full or default routes BGP on FESX 648

Hi community,

 

1. Can the FESX648+2XG-PREM support full or default routes for BGP?

 

We will be activating two bandwidth providers (Internap and Cogent) that will be connected/peering to our FESX648 with BGP. The service delivery officers of the providers are asking us if we want full or default routes. We are not sure as to what to tell them.

 

2. Does our downstream hosts/networks will have full internet reachability with only default routes? What is the avdantage/disadvantage of running defaults vs. full table on BGP?

 

3. What can be our basic config according to the switch capacities?
