Re: FES2402 out of production

Hi.

If you need only 1G swiches then FWS624G (24 port) or FWS648G will do (48 Port).

If oyu need 10GB switchThen look at the Turbiron (24 port 1/10GB sFP) switches.

If you Need 10GB uplink and no stacking then FCX624-E or -I or FCX648-E or -I

If you need stacking then FCX624-S (24 Port) or FCX648-S (48 Port)

If going into a datacentre look at VDX range.

Now if you list the requirements then we will be able to shorten the list to right products for you.

Thanks

Michael.

Re: FES2402 out of production

Except the FWS switches you have listed don't have dedicated uplink ports which may cause problems for some people, EG US!

Re: FES2402 out of production

Hi williamsmj7,

Correct the FWS do not have deadicated uplink, but do have 4 combo ports.  The combo port wil take SFP's to be used as uplinks if you need fiber uplinks.

     What issue are you facing?

Thanks

Michael.
