Can a mirror port be across an uplink?

Example:

You have switch A and switch B connected together via 10Gb Fiber uplink.

Is there a way to monitor a switch port on switch A, and have the mirror port be on switch B?

This doesn't seem possible. Maybe I should just finally install and use the Brocade Network Advisor

Yes you can have the mirror port on switch A  and the monitor port on switch B . Are you trying to configure this on a fastiron series or a netiron switch , i will send you the link to the configuration guide that lists all the details including the command syntax for details .
