Hello to all,
We are setting BGP on a BROCADE CER2024F-4X-RT
it has 2G DRAM so we cannot set all carriers as full routes
I have 2 different circuits from the same carrier with some diversty
is there a way I can set one of the circutis as Hot stand by but without using full routes so that it replaces the other circuit from the same carrier on issues ( We do plan to use full routes on this one )?
thanks in advance

The most easiest way is to e.g. enable
in router-bgp context. Also use small bgp hold timeout values for the main bgp neighbor.
The second bgp neighbor shall only announce a default route, not a full table. For the import you can accept this default route without any issue. For the export you may need to prepend your as-num.
ip prefix-list accept-default seq 120 permit 0.0.0.0/0 le 32
route-map bgp-in permit 50
match ip address prefix-list accept-default
route-map bgp-in deny 100
route-map bgp-out permit 15
set as-path prepend MYAS MYAS MYAS
