Has anyone seen ARP issues with FCX stacks? I have a customer that will experience random slowness and loss of connectivity on their network. When they clear their ARP cache, all of the issues go away. They will not be able to PING a device from the FCX console, even though there is an ARP entry in the table. Once you PING this device from another PC, then the FCX is able to PING from the console....
TAC told them to upgrade to 7.2a, which they did, but had to back it out two days later because this upgrade caused some issues...

Have a look though the release note for 7.2.02d - come out on the 30th of June 2011. There is a lot of fixes for FCX in there. It might be worth a try on that code revision.
As a side note I (Michael Schipp not from Brocade) have found the 7.2xx release to be very unstable. That said I have an outage window in 15 min to upgrade to 7.2.02d - we will see how that goes......

Please keep us posted on results with "d"!
I'd be curious about the kind of stability issues you've been seeing with 7.2.xx. Our core stack has been doing well on 7.2.02a routing code with the exception of the DHCP Server function. We have seen unrelated PS issues: one FCX power supply that died today, two others previously hung with no DC output after a couple brief dips in the AC input.

Ok 16 hours+ so far and not seeing the same issue we saw under eailer 7.2 releases - but need to run it longer.....
Issue we had on a Fastiron SX1600 under 7.2 was high CPU though Show process cpu does not refelct that, performance issues at random times, and managment models would not sync after running for some time.
Their is a few stated fixes in the release notes for 18.104.22.168d that state this has been fixed, we will see.

7.2.02d release notes include the following bug fix. Upgrading to "d" helped us.
