Strange ARP problems on LAG interface

Hi all

I have a VDX6740 running NOS 4.0.1.  i configured a LAG integface to an linux host like below:

sw1# show running-config interface TenGigabitEthernet 1/0/15
interface TenGigabitEthernet 1/0/15
 no fabric isl enable
 no fabric trunk enable
channel-group 8 mode active type standard
 lacp timeout long
 no shutdown
!
sw1# show running-config interface TenGigabitEthernet 1/0/16
interface TenGigabitEthernet 1/0/16
 no fabric isl enable
 no fabric trunk enable
channel-group 8 mode active type standard
 lacp timeout short
 lacp default-up
 no shutdown
!
sw1# show running-config interface Port-channel 8
interface Port-channel 8
 vlag ignore-split
 mtu 9200
 switchport
 switchport mode access
 switchport access vlan 60
 no spanning-tree shutdown
 no shutdown
!
sw1# show running-config rbridge-id 1 interface ve 60
rbridge-id 1
interface Ve 60
ip ospf area 172.16.0.0
ip proxy-arp
ip address 172.16.6.254/24
no shutdown
!
!

But on the linux box, i CANNOT ping 172.16.6.254 while pinging other 172.16.6.X hosts is OK.

If i add an manual arp entry:

sw1# show running-config rbridge-id 1 arp
rbridge-id 1
 arp 172.16.6.8 a036.9f48.927c interface Ve 60
!

 the 172.16.0.254 will be accessible.

Is this a bug or some sort of mis-configured?

Re: Strange ARP problems on LAG interface

Looks like software bug for me.

Problem no longer exist after upgrade to 4.1.2ad
