Config-ceemap priority-table priority "slots"

I am working on configuring a Brocade 8000 FCoE switch.  In the CEE settings a priority table is required.  The example given in the minimum configuration section is "switch(conf-cee-map)#priority-table 2 2 2 1 2 2 2 2"

After reading chapter 8 of the Administrator's Guide I understand what "1" and "2" mean.  However, I'm still unclear on what the 8 "slots" in the command, where 1 and 2 are set, represent.  The manual describes this as a "priority-to-priority" group table, but I don't understand what the non-PGID priorities are.  I believe this is a CoS mapping, however even after re-reading the CoS section I'm still unclear on how CoS maps in.

Can someone offer an alternative explanation to the manual, please?

Re: Config-ceemap priority-table priority "slots"

The "slots" are the 802.1p CoS priorities.
