The Brocade® Education team is currently building a best-in-class certification program. This updated program is streamlined and aligned to Brocade technology areas, with clearly defined certification tracks organized by job role and proficiency level. This structure ensures that individuals learn the skills that are most relevant to their job.
The updated certification program is based upon the results of a series of workshops from all Brocade stakeholders and will be delivered in a phased approach through the remainder of 2016 and into early 2017. New systems are being implemented for ease of exam development and management. Processes are being updated to improve exam security and protect Brocade intellectual property.
Updated Brocade Certification Program Candidate Agreement (BCPCA): The updated BCPCA is more comprehensive than the previous NDA agreement. You will need to agree to the terms and conditions of the BCPCA before taking a new certification exam at Pearson VUE. The previous NDA is still in effect for all certification exams released prior to March 11, 2016. For a complete explanation refer to the Education FAQs.
Provisional Scoring: With the release of the Brocade Professional IP Administrator 2016 (BPIPA) and Brocade Professional vADC Administrator 2016 (BPvADCA) exams on March 11th, Brocade will institute provisional scoring on all passing scores. The passing score is provisional while the results undergo further statistical analysis to determine if they are in compliance with the Brocade Certification Program Candidate Agreement or if results are outside an acceptable statistical range. For a complete explanation refer to the Education FAQs.

The BPvADCA has not been added to any of the current tracks. The BPIPA has been added to the Brocade Certified Professional Internetworking and the Brocade Certified Professional Converged Networking tracks. You can see the updated requirements by logging into your CertMetrics account, clicking on the Credentials link in the menu bar at the top of the page and viewing Started credentials. Find the BDA, click the link and you will see the current requirements and how the exams you have taken are applied. Thanks for your reply.
I was more wondering if the certification system consisting of four tracks and the requirement for the BDA will stay, three out of four, and if the already earned certifications stay not only valid but meaningful in that context as well. But as you included the new BPIPA certification in the old tracks I suppose yes.
