What is the meaning of port down due to MAC-delete?

I am seeing the following log messages and I am not sure about the reason:

Jun  2 12:57:36:N:L4 server 192.168.x.y rs-xyz port 80 is down due to MAC-delete

Jun  2 12:57:36:N:L4 server 192.168.x.y rs-abc port 80 is down due to MAC-delete

What is the reason for that?

Re: What is the meaning of port down due to MAC-delete?

This message occurs in case the MAC address of a real server is getting deleted from the ServerIrons MAC table.

There are several reasons for this

1. the port the real server is seen behind is going down

2. MAC aging (should not happen in case there is some kind of response to the health checks)
