Re: ServerIron and tcp-offload - is it possible to use tcp-offload for other protocols than HTTP?

Tcp-offload is a HTTP only feature right now. It is as well possible to use it for SSL terminated traffic talking about AOS >= 12.1 but you can not use it for any non-HTTP related traffic like DNS, LDAP, RADIUS and all the other. HTTP is a pretty simple protocol and tcp-offload is really helping you to get some more performance.

Some other protocols do not really offer any possibilities here. DNS is most of the time UDP and it is a single query packet with a single reply packet most of the time.

So again: it is HTTP only right now.
