How do I block traffic using PBSLB?

I would like to force PBSLB to throw some stuff away at the ADX already without forwarding it to any real server. Is this possible?

Re: How do I block traffic using PBSLB?

This is quite simple. All you have to do is to use group #0 or a non-existing group in your pbslb rules.

Example:

server real rs101 192.168.9.101

  port http

  port http url "HEAD /"

  port http group-id  4 4

!

server real rs102 192.168.9.102

  port http

  port http url "HEAD /"

  port http group-id  3 3

!

server virtual vs222 192.168.8.222

  port http

  port http sw-l4-pbslb

bind http rs101 http rs102 http

server pbslb add 192.168.8.100/32 0
server pbslb add 192.168.8.101/32 4
server pbslb add 192.168.8.102/32 3
server pbslb add 192.168.8.103/32 2

Look at the entries in red - both do point to groups which do not exist. Traffic hitting these rules is getting thrown away.
