HTTPS/SSL Traffic Load Balance in Transparent Cache Mode

Hi,

I am using ServerIron ADX to Load Balance HTTP traffic in Transparent Caching mode. Below is my configuration

server port 80
session-sync
tcp
tcp l4-check-only

server cache-name server1 1.1.1.1
port default disable
port http
port http url "HEAD /"

server cache-name server2 1.1.1.2
port default disable
port http
port http url "HEAD /"

server cache-group 1
cache-name server1
cache-name server2
spoof-support

ip l4-policy 1 cache tcp http global

Now I also want to use ServerIron ADX to Load Balance for HTTPS Traffic in Transparant Caching Mode. Please confirm if the below configuration would work. I DON'T want ServerIron ADX to open encrypted packet, the Cache Server will do this job. Server Iron should only Load Balance HTTPS request on Cache Servers and return to the client.

server port 443
session-sync
tcp
tcp l4-check-only

server cache-name server1 1.1.1.1
port ssl

server cache-name server2 1.1.1.2
port ssl

ip l4-policy 2 cache tcp ssl global

Please let me know if the configuration is corrent to Load Balance clients HTTPS traffic to cache server in TCS mode.

Thanks

Re: HTTPS/SSL Traffic Load Balance in Transparent Cache Mode

Simply not sure - It looks correct.  TCS is covered in the ServerIron_12100_AdvancedSLBguide.pdf however this does not talk about TCS with SSL.

What I can remember of the ServerIron GTE and your config looks correct though.
