Biography:
As Vice President Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Uli Plechschmidt is responsible for sales operations, growth, and profitability throughout the geography. Previous to his role as the top Brocade executive in EMEA and also Latin America before, he was Regional Sales Director for Brocade’s Central European Region in EMEA.
Before joining Brocade in 2002, Plechschmidt spent seven years at IBM where he held several sales management and account management roles, including Regional Manager Networked Storage for IBM’s Central Region in EMEA. He joined IBM in 1995 as key account manager for a large public sector customer in Germany. Plechschmidt studied Business Administration in Munich and holds an Executive MBA degree from Henley Management College in the UK.
